Leading up to this year, KTH Formula Student has been through a fast-paced season, which came to an early end at the Formula Student UK competition. Unfortunately, the team failed to pass the inspection prior to the competition, allowing it to only compete in the static events – and inevitably losing out on the majority of points.
Fredrik Danielsson, who stepped up to the role as Project Leader this season, gives his insight on what went wrong;
“We’ve implemented a lot of electric systems in the car […]. We ran into problems that we couldn’t solve immediately, and it took a lot of time to figure out how put everything together.”
With the upcoming season just around the corner, the pressure to succeed is higher then ever. “We all have studies, we’re working in our free time – that’s our biggest challenge.” - describes Team Leader for Electronics, Harikrishnan Radhakrishnan.
While motivation and hard work will certainly be a key factor to success, members attribute the organization’s progress to teamwork. Petros Abraham, Head of Business and Marketing, leaves us with an insightful description of the teams mentality;
